New York state’s largest on-farm, "co-digestion" biogas power project was officially unveiled on May 1. The 1.4 MW plant is at the Synergy Dairy, a 2,000-head dairy farm southwest of Rochester, N.Y.
This is alternative energy that everyone should be able to agree to. We are literally flushing billions of dollars every day. Generating power from waste water helps solve our energy supply needs, gives us revenue from something that only costs us money with our current systems, and it also keeps all that methane from entering the atmosphere. This is definitely a step in the right direction. Every City, Municipality, Town, and Village should have this by the end of the decade. Below are two related links.
